This CoP is dedicated to advancing knowledge and action in the area of climate change adaptation, including sharing of ideas and information to encourage the mainstreaming of adaptation into decision-making frameworks.

  • Involvement in the GEO Flagships, community initiatives and activities task on GEO Bon, GOS4M, Global Ecosystems and Environment Observation Analysis Research Cooperation and related components.
  • Establishment of links with major institutions in environmental resources management and disaster mitigation.
  • Development of user specifications for an environmental monitoring system.
