Agriculture and Food Security Community of Practice ( AFS CoP) Meeting

The NEOSS Agriculture and Food Security (AFS) Community of Practice (CoP) invites you to the upcoming CoP Meeting scheduled for Friday, 5 December 2025, from 11:00 to 12:30 (SAST) via Microsoft Teams.

The NEOSS CoPs serve as dynamic platforms for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and collective problem-solving across South Africa’s Earth Observation and space ecosystem. They bring together experts, practitioners, institutions, and community members to catalyse discussions on critical issues in space science, innovation, and Earth Observations. 
 
In line with ongoing engagements across the CoPs, the AFS CoP is convening to explore recent developments shaping agricultural monitoring and food security at both global and national levels. This meeting will feature current national and global insights and perspectives from the community.

This session will provide an important opportunity to deepen collaboration, strengthen alignment with global best practice, and support evidence-based decision-making for agriculture and food security in South Africa.
